Employed with Teaching Personnel, an education agency, placed within St Clare's School, a Secondary SEND school working full time since June. Placed in multiple classes before working 1:1 with a student who has Autism and struggles with emotional regulation which can lead to behavioural difficulties.
- Liaising with the class teacher to make sure I can assist them and the students in the best possible way I can.
- Acquiring necessary resources needed for learning.
- Using a radio to communicate with staff members and listening to important information.
- Collecting Breakfast and lunch items for students.
- Taking students on rest breaks such as going on walks, collecting food and playing games such as football, basketball, and tag.

Resumed employment with Education Personnel after mental health improvement. Given placements within Secondary Schools as a Teaching Assistant/Learning Mentor.

Teaching Assistant at Derby College (2025-06 – 2026-02)
Advanced within FE after working within the primary and secondary sectors.
- Assisting EHCP and TSP students and adapting work to their needs, such as making sure the work is accessible, making sure they have overlays, scribing, breaking information into manageable sections and taking notes for them.
- Being hoist trained and helping disabled students with their personal care needs, including stretches.
- Reporting safeguarding concerns and typing comments on Promonitor about students, such as reasons why they have left college due to illness.
- Using the Reporting Services to check student absences, correct timetabling and course codes to create EHCP and TSP student lists within Promonitor.

Teaching Assistant at Aquinas Education (2021-11 – 2023-07)
Started working for the agency after graduating. Worked as a teaching assistant in different schools before being placed in Zaytouna Primary School in November 2021 to assist 1:1 with a student who possessed high SEN needs with another member of staff. After demonstrating skills, assigned 1:1 to another student with SEN needs, as well as assisting the class teacher.
- Working with multiple children with SEN needs.
- Assisting in organising, filing and marking papers.
- Independently creating own activities for children to complete as a part of their Gold Enrichment afternoons as a reward for good behaviour which coincided with the National Curriculum expectations which included Art and Drama Enrichment, as well as for afterschool Art Club with the students.
- For the Drama Enrichment created an original story for students to act out which brought much excitement and praise.
