Jenna Bainbridge

I am a friendly, outgoing individual who enjoys listening to any queries and helping people feel satisfied. Becoming someone who my colleagues can rely on is something I've needed in every job, so I have become very good at helping in any category of work. I excel in keeping places tidy and organised, so there is no stress for the higher ups or any colleagues.

I try to be as much support as possible, helping more with the little things to try and assist. Due to me being a receptionist, I am able to type quite fast and send out emails, or sort out documents quite fast. I previously have worked at a pig farm as a little bit of work experience, but worked there for over a year.

Through this, I learnt patience, gentleness and understanding the needs of those who can't say what they need. I thoroughly enjoyed this time.

Receptionist at The Workhouse Gymnasium (2020-07 – Present)

• During busy hours, I would assist in any extra tasks that needed doing, without the need of being asked, even if they weren't in my original job description. I am very happy helping out my colleagues during these times.
• I often multitasked, speaking to customers and answering any queries, whilst filling out paperwork and signing people up to the gym.
• Phone calls usually came quite often to the gym, so I was able to answer those phone calls and give advice/answer any queries and leave the customer satisfied. This allowed for easy communication between the gymnasium and staff, and the customers.
• Being a receptionist, I was the face of the gym so I am very friendly and I always have a smile on my face to ease anyone who felt intimidated by the gym as it can be an intimidating place the first time you go in.

Manager at Wetherspoons (2022-11 – 2024-01)

• As the face of Wetherspoons, The Moon Under The Water, I often smiled and made customers feel welcome.
• Being a manager meant I had to show great communication and leadership skills, but it also meant I had to listen to my colleagues and become their friends so they enjoyed the job they did.
• I often took delivery orders, both sending out a request for them and receiving so I have a good knowledge of stock and organisation.
• Usually, I had to perform safety checks and keep the safety of my staff and the customers as a top priority, so I am very aware and knowledgeable about what to do in case of an emergency.

Ice cream server at Skinners Ice Cream (2019-03 – 2023-03)

• As this was my first job, I had learnt a lot about making customers feel happy and remembering their orders, and also becoming their friends over time.
• Health and safety was a large part of this job, so I had to make sure to follow protocols as much as possible to keep everyone safe in terms of cleanliness.
• Sometimes we didn't have a lot of customers, especially during the autumn before we closed, so I was often in charge of stock, setting up for the next year and deep cleaning the factory.
• During times when we were rushed off of our feet, usually in the summer holidays, I had to quickly learn how to deal with a rush and keep customers happy even whilst waiting.
