Jenny Davidson

Hi my name is Jenny and I'm 24 years old. I have worked in the rail industry for eight years, spending most of my career in planning, and recently moved over to engineering.

I started my rail career in 2015 as a planning apprentice, this then lead to a full time position working within the planning team. Over the eight years i have had numerous roles within the department. Traincrew rostering, rail possession planning, KPI management, managing traincrew hours and fatigue, traincrew annual leave, finance reports, car management and various other tasks to help with the smooth running of our train services.

Recently i left the planning side and joined the engineering team. My new role involves managing fuel for our fleet, maintaining legal requirements on the wheelsets for our fleet, and then the financial side of invoicing. The job also involves dealing with external customers, and managing stock internally and externally.

My most recent education was completing my NVQ in business administration level 3. I am keen to develop my skills further, so would be willing to further education.
