Studying Electronics and Communications Engineering at the University of Kent and, currently looking for part-time work.
I have extensive experience in volunteer and leadership roles within cultural and educational organizations. Currently, I have been serving as a Logistics Officer for Filifest CIC since August 2022, where I effectively communicate with team members, ensure event flow, and manage social media content. Additionally, I volunteered at the FiliFest Games 2024, facilitating games and assisting with venue preparation and live streaming.
I have held leadership positions such as Vice President and Sports Secretary of the University of Kent Canterbury Filipino Society, focusing on team leadership, event facilitation, and sports management. As Secretary of the university's Tennis Society, I managed correspondence and kept members informed. My earlier experience includes tutoring at Kumon Study Centre, where I developed listening and leadership skills, and volunteering as a teaching assistant at St Albans Catholic Primary School.
I pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering with a Foundation Year at the University of Kent Canterbury from 2019 to 2023, and I am projected to graduate with a 2:2. My studies covered electronics, the fundamentals of communications, and basic programming. Key modules, such as Communication Systems, provided me with a focused understanding of antenna and satellite systems as well as mobile and cellular networks.
I also possess technical skills in Microsoft Office and have proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python. Additionally, I am experienced in using NetSim e-Simulation, m-Bed, Advanced Design System (ADS) Simulation, and operating an oscilloscope.
