I'm currently a laboratory technician within microbiology department at Gateshead nhs trust I first started my career at sunderland before they merged with South shields and Gateshead

I have worked within the nhs trust for 14 years I've done work placements on various departments. Catering department preparing meals for patients, medical day care unit booking in patients for their appointments , telephone enquiries with patients. Dementia ward preparing beverages for patients, general cleaning duties, iccu taking medical records to the mortuary, sorting out stock, taking samples to pathology lab,sorting out family room replenishment the teas ,coffees .etc
