I have experience working as a volunteer in a charity shop being a positive and welcoming presence in the shop. I am now looking for opportunities to work in a customer service or retail environment to gain skills and experience in a job that focuses on customer needs.

Charity Shop Assistant at Cancer Research UK (2023-01 – 2023-02)
I spent one month volunteering at a local charity shop as an assistant helping costumers in the shop and being supervised by the shop manager. I took on many duties including sorting out the stock (scanning books, ironing clothe, putting prices on toys and clothes etc), preparing them for sale and interacting with customers. I learnt that communication skills was key i also learned how the shop is functioned, I also had experience with carrying heavy boxes during my time in the charity shop, so I did well for myself during my time in the charity shop.
