I am a reliable Class 1 and 2 vehicle driver with ADR license. I have strong geographical knowledge throughout Scotland and the North East of England and have a commitment to operational efficiency. I work well as part of a team and on my own initiative.
I have good communication skills and have built up a very good rapport with my customers. I pride myself as having an excellent time keeping and attendance record. I have a flexible approach to the hours I work and any shift pattern would be acceptable.
I hold an ADR license Class 3 core and tanks.
HGV Class 1 ADR - XPO Logistics - Scotland

I deliver fuel throughout Scotland on the Tesco contract, carrying out forecourt deliveries, ensuring supplies are delivered safely and timeously. I drive under Microlise tracking system on Grade A. I ensure all essential safety measures are carried out at all times. My work pattern here is day and night shift on a weekly rotating basis.

My duties were delivering fuel across Scotland, carrying out commercial tank deliveries, including gas oil, derv and kerosene. Other duties included delivering jet 1 fuel to airports throughout Scotland and forecourt deliveries to Tesco, always ensuring all essential safety measures were carried out at all times. My work pattern was constant night shift.

After working with DHL for over 9 years I made the decision to leave to further my career as a Class 1 ADR tanker driver to start employment with Oilfast Ltd. My duties included carrying out commercial tank deliveries, including gas oil, derv and kerosene. I also delivered high sulphur fuel to vessels throughout Scotland. Other duties included delivering fuel to forecourts at Asda and Morrisons.
HGV Driver Class 1 - DHL Nisa - Livingston
(2007-09 - 2016-04)
I delivered chill and freeze produce and ambient to retailers throughout Scotland and was responsible for making sure deliveries were made timeously and within the allocated time windows. The areas I covered were the whole of Scotland and the North East of England. I carried out necessary safety checks to vehicles before the start and finish of every shift, ensuring everything was legal and roadworthy (OPS 13 Checks).
I drove under Microlise tracking system where I was classed as a Grade A driver. Following positive feedback from my employers I took in further responsibilities in the induction of new drivers which included demonstrating safe working practice, training new drivers to routes, induction to shops as well as completing all necessary paperwork. Part of my role also included carry out store risk assessments.
This was part of a developmental role.
