Biologist with more than 2 years of experience in the field of molecular biology and biochemistry. I have worked in different research and clinical diagnostic laboratories. I have participated in several biotechnology research projects, and I would like to continue progressing in my career as a Research Scientist and to keep developing my skills within the field.
I have knowledge in Bioinformatic programs, and I have performed routinely the following biochemical techniques: DNA/RNA extraction, flow cytometry, Rt/PCR, electrophoresis, and blot technique.

EUGENOMA S.A is a Clinical Laboratory specialized in molecular biology and high complex diagnostics. As part of my role I identified and analysed infectious pathogens and tumor cells from patients in order to monitor the clinical treatment progress of patients. I performed the following routine clinical tasks to indentify infectious pathogens in patien's samples (mucous, cervical fluid, blood, and cerebrospinal fluid):
• DNA and RNA extraction • Flow cytometry for HIV and viral load study for HIV.
• Blot techniques for the detection and genotyped of HPV and Herpes Virus.
• PCR and RtPCR for Tuberculosis, SARS-CoV2, Chagas, cytomegalovirus, and Hepatitis B and C viral load study.
• Genetic test panels for factor II and IV, hemochromatosis, translocation 9; 22, and Acute Myeloid Leukaemia panel.
Técnica del Norte University (Molecular Biology)
4-month internship awarded by the University Técnica del Norte in the "Molecular analysis of phytoplankton from the Cayambe river ". As part of my role, I performed the following routine: • Molecular identification of Phytoplankton by electrophoresis and PCR • Batch Scaled microalgae cultivation • Determination of phylogenetic relationships among phytoplankton using Rstudio • Extraction and determination of lipid content in phytoplankton.
