Primary School Work Experience - St Gregorys
(2023 - 2023)
Working in a primary school was part of my 2 week school work experience. I thoroughly enjoyed this role, I took part in helping the children with their work and helping them work together. I organised and marked students work.
I also took part in making props for the school play. I communicated clearly with the children and teachers building kind, caring relationships which has paid off till this day as some of the children and teachers still recognise me. I think it is very important to build these relationships when working in a community as work can be easier and bring joy to everyone involved.
I believe this experience has taught me how important it is to communicate with others. I also obtained various skills such as empathy, creativity and patience.
