I would like to introduce myself as an upbeat and positive individual and a high achiever in whatever i put my mind to. I am great at understanding customers in their needs/wants. making me the perfect employee for a retail and/or a customer facing position. In my previous experience I have worked in a team of around 5-10 people and contributed to a well-functioning team dynamic.
I have proven in the past to cope well during busy spells and being able to multi task while still maintaining satisfactory customer service. From memorising a large menu to getting to know customers, these are just part of the many things that make me a valuable asset as an employee. What I personally seek in a job role is growth and independence by the means of which will only be satiated by working hard to learn new skills and earning a living whilst doing so.
As we spend a great amount of time at work I like to integrate myself into the team socially, again due to being a people person. What I can provide in return is my time, dedication and vast skill set.
Customer Assistant at Tesco (2017-10 – 2023-03)
I worked in Tesco for 6 years as a customer service assistant on the customer service desk. A typical day for me was anything from MoneyGram to lottery. Tending to customers needs which could include Click&Collect orders or clothing returns. Multiple times a day I was met with an unhappy customer and I could tend to their needs to their satisfaction. I was trained on checkouts, self scan, scan as you shop and also done the petrol filling station towards the end of my time with Tesco.

In a typical working day I start my day off by greeting customers and seating them according to their preferences. Tasks throughout the day can include dealing with customer inquires, handling cash, general cleaning duties and serving food and drinks.
