Early Years Practitioner at Little Years Nursery (2025-11 – 2026-06)

During my time working in a nursery, I have learnt to communicate effectively with my colleagues and work as a team to support the children. I am very experienced with hygiene procedures, through working in a nursery it has taught me food hygiene procedures, correct waste disposal procedures and cleaning procedures making me able to provide a clean safe environment for the children. I have built great patience and understanding through working with children and it has taught me how to work efficiently under pressure.

Beauty Therapist at York College (2026-09 – 2027-06)

I am currently working towards a level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification at York College. I am gaining practical experience through working on peers and clients. This course has given me great conversational skills and professionalism.

It has also taught me the importance of health and safety procedures in Beauty Therapy and I have recently gained my Barbicide certification. I am working towards becoming qualified in facials, waxing, eyelash treatments, brow treatments manicures and pedicures, skincare and massages.
