I have learnt how to work well in a team in a sometimes challenging and busy hospitality environment. I have also gained responsibility as I have been left alone on the bar and have helped to train newer members of the team.

Online tuition for GCSE Mathematics and Chemistry. I have helped many students to reach their desired grades, with lots going from grades 2 and 3 to 5s, as well as some going from 7s to 9s. This has helped me to develop my organisation and time management skills, as well as my ability to adapt my communication style.
Shadowing placement - Partner and Family Solicitor at Photiades St Albans (2025-11 – 2025-11)
I spent a week at Photiades shadowing a Partner and a Family solicitor. I drafted skeleton arguments and conducted legal research. I thoroughly enjoyed this week, it reinforced my interest in a role which is client facing as I particularly enjoyed the client meetings.
Commercial Team Placement at Baker Botts Law LLP (2025-07 – 2025-07)
Completed a short placement within the Commercial team. I spent time with paralegals, solicitors and a Partner and conducted independent legal research. I enjoyed the office environment and found it very rewarding working within a team towards group targets. I also spent a week with Baker Botts online in June 2021, here I got given tasks from junior associates and partners.
Judicial Marshalling at St Albans Crown Court (2025-04 – 2025-04)
I spent two days shadowing a judge, I observed case management hearings, sentencing hearings, and the start of a trial.
Weekend Sales Assistant at Simmons Bakery St Albans (2019-10 – 2022-01)
Developed teamwork and supervisory experience, whilst accurately delivering customer orders in a busy retail environment. This was my first hospitality job and it taught me how to communicate with members of the public, also ensuring I stayed on top of my school work whilst balancing my work commitments.
