My goal is to become a fully qualified Skincare consultant, with a keen interest in rosacea and sensitive skin types. Ideally, I am seeking an apprenticeship position and can start work as early as June. Learning through working alongside a dynamic skincare team would be truly fulfilling.
I am available for part-time work in a suitable area within a skincare company as well with the goal of working my way up to a more qualified position. I have experience working in a variety of customer facing roles and have extensive experience as a casting directors assistant in commercials. Learning electrotherapy is also something I am passionate about.
Over the years I have worked for various casting directors in the commercials department and most recently as a Barista/Cheesemonger at a cafe in East London and throughout all of this I have maintained a career as an actress. Now I find myself out of work as my manager decided to close down the company and I really wanted to take this opportunity to transition into skincare as it has been a keen interest of mine for such a long time and working in an industry I’m truly passionate about will bring me so much joy and fulfilment.
During my time at Froth & Rind, the cafe in East London, I discovered a talent I have for communicating with people and maintaining a good relationship with the regulars was really important to me.
I also created an exfoliating body scrub from the spent coffee grounds at the shop and worked closely with the manufacturing company to source environmentally friendly ingredients that didn’t alter the texture and smell of my original recipe. My insight into this side of the industry was invaluable.
My education has been in performing arts and theatre. Prior to that I have at least 5 GCSE's Grade C and above.
