Joe Haynes

I am an aspiring football coach and currently work for Norwich City football club in the player development centre. I am a Sports coaching and PE graduate from Anglia Ruskin University with a bachelors degree with a grade of a 2.1 which is an upper second class grade. I have had the experience of being an assistant coach / physio at an u18s sunday league team and have been for a number of years (Bassingbourn u14s all the way up to u18s).

I also play for Orwell FC who are in the kershaw Premier of the cambridge football leagues (Step 7). My career objective is to work within professional football and my passion lies within Coaching; I really enjoy learning from others all the technical and tactical aspects of the game. I want to gain as much experience as i can as i would love to coach players to reach their full potential in the future and life through playing football.

In my current job, I am a Football coach and i deliver engaging, progressive and challenging sessions to players aged 6-16, as well as inspiring players to develop technically, tactically, physically and mentally

In my current Job, i am a sports coach and during term i go into different primary schools in the Cambridgeshire area and i teach PE and also run extra curricular clubs, out of term time i also am Camp lead at our sports camps we run

Assistant Manager / Physio at Bassingbourn Youth FC (2021-07 – 2025-07)

I spent 4 full seasons with the team, volunteering to help assist the manager on match days and would run training sessions every week.

Work experience at ARM cambridge (2022-06 – 2022-07)

i spent a month on work experience at a company called Arm in Cambridge and i was doing work experience within the gym and helping out with fitness plans

Summer volunteering at JS Sports & Education (2023-07 – 2023-09)

I spent the summer volunteering with a sports company that were hosting summer camps for kids in the Cambridgeshire area, loved it so much i actually got offered a job from that company and still there today
