In July 2023, I finished a 3 month Graphic Design Internship at BeZero Carbon. Being part of the marketing team I was able to attain strong skills and knowledge regarding graphic design, digital marketing strategy and social media content creation. The projects that I worked on were focused on advancing BeZero's presence in the marketplace, with an emphasis on data visualisation and information design. I collaborated with the marketing team in all stages of marketing campaigns. My contribution helped to develop, expand and maintain the BeZero Carbon marketing channels.
In 2020, I gained a bachelor's degree at Leeds Beckett University. I studied Creative Media Technology, where I worked on numerous projects that involved an end to end creation process. I worked on briefs, planned and researched engagement strategies, carried out user tests and learned about many other industry processes during this course. To provide context as to what kind of project I was working on, I studied a module named ‘Media Project’ where me and three other students worked together to produce a media campaign that we pitched to a group of industry professionals. The objective of the brief was to merge Desperados (beer) and BoomTown festival together to compose a digital campaign for the audience to interact with during the event.
