I am a 27 year old freelance videographer and editor looking to develop my skills in my field and grow within a company setting
Lead Videographer / Video editor - Fire & Ice Media ltd, July 2022 - January 2024
Fire & Ice is one of the leading wedding videography and photography companies in the UK. In my job role I was required to travel globally to both film and edit a variety of unique and diverse weddings. They have also recently launched Fire and Ice Commercial in which I have gained experience as both a Gaffer and Camera Operator for a well known camera brands' marketing campaign.
Creating and delivering bespoke videography packages, including 1 minute teasers, 3 minute highlights and 60+ minute Films, to satisfy sophisticated client needs.
Adding editorial understanding to the production of each video using Adobe creative suite and create cohesive narrative structure following both traditional and modern Weddings.
Offer full videography coverage using Sony a7s III's and a creative eye on a wide variety of weddings and events and consistently working to further my technical and cinematography knowledge.
Working both autonomously and as part of a group on both shoots and in post production
Capturing live audio during ceremonies, speeches and guest interviews, and manipulating music and sound effects to ensure high quality sound design.
Videographer/ Editor/ Director/ Dop - "Uncovered" Documentary series, February - Ongoing
Uncovered" is a docu-series i have written in which I interview and craft a narrative around creative/inspirational people in my local area. I am currently in the process of shooting and editing for the first series, in which i do all the shooting, audio, lighting and post-production myself. it is a project which i am extremely passionate about and it allows me to continually improve my film making abilities and provides me a creative outlet in which to showcase my work.
Video editor (Creator Program) - Jellysmack, May 2021 - June 2022
My role at Jellysmack was to take youtube edits from hugely popular creators such as, Mr beast, Patrickk Star, Pewdiepie, etc and reformat them to fit the algorithm for various other social media platforms. I also took part in a program which required me to edit and produce original jellysmack content for a variety of different channels they manage such as 'killer bites', 'Binge society' and 'gameology'. My listed responsibilities were as follows:
▪ Creating dynamic videos for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat or YouTube
▪ Adding editorial understanding to the production of each video
▪ Finding the most effective ways to adapt pre-edited content to suit better with the consumer style of other social networks.
▪ Testing and launching new pages
▪ Using data analysis to maximize video performance.
