Technical skills and responsibilities

• Payment processing - Setting up a high volume of transactions for a large group company; both on the banking platforms and the general ledger.
• Journal posting - Entering and correcting journal entries for inter-business loans and transactions.
• Purchase order processing - Creating and confirming purchase orders of goods for various departments.
• Group cashbook preparation - Updating and maintaining cashbooks for month-end bank reconciliations.
• Settlement reallocation agreements - Offsetting transactions on the Single Electricity Market in compliance with settlement reallocation agreements.
• Beneficiary setup - Co-ordinating with group finance and accounts payable for the onboarding of vendors onto banking platforms and accounting software.
• Month-end assistance - Bank reconciliations, monthly journals and adjustments.
• Payment diary management - Centralising upcoming, paid and outstanding payments into a shared spreadsheet; allowing workflow transparency and cashflow management.
• Ad-hoc and administration - Filing high volumes of bank statements and managing group post.
