I have been a qualified plumber since 2006 where I finished my apprenticeship with Nationwide Maintenance at Winchester Council. Since then I have kept myself up to date through relevant training and am ready for a career that is secure and which may add to my existing knowledge and skills. I believe I am very well present, polite and ready for a new challenge.

Maintenance Operative - Voyage Care - Southampton

(2014-02)

During my time at Voyage my job role included audits of the house, surveys and checking for legionella. I maintained the heating and plumbing across many care properties within Southampton and keeping the properties in a safe and presentable state this includes DIY jobs, painting and decorating and general maintenance of the buildings inside and out.

Plumber and Maintenance - Trade Tek Limited

(2013-09 - 2014-01)

Whilst working at Trade Tek my main duties involved gas servicing and repairing breakdowns, ordering of parts and fitting them. My role also included drainage, household plumbing maintenance and carpentry repairs. Working from a PDA and writing reports at the end of each job.

Gas Engineer - New Forest District Council

(2012-02 - 2013-09)

My main duties in this role was team leader on void properties, where I managed a small team. Delegating jobs whilst also leading by example, I ensured all homes were of a satisfactory condition and overseeing that all gas and electrical checks had been completed. Another part of my role was to ensure all building work was up to standard, servicing of domestic boilers within the council properties alongside plumbing and maintenance repairs.

During my time at Whites my job role included servicing and breakdown repairs, gas and plumbing repairs, drainage, ordering of parts and writing reports and delivering high customer service.

Gas Engineer / Plumber - BWA Heating

(2011-03 - 2011-11)

My job role included working from a PDA, servicing and breakdown repairs, gas and plumbing repairs, ordering of parts and writing reports at the end of each job. I worked to a tight time scale but with high quality customer service. Ensuring my van was well stocked, clean and safe to drive.

Gas Engineer - KA Watts Plumbing and Heating - Bromley, London

(2010-12 - 2011-03)

Whilst with KA Watts I managed a contract with 4 other engineers in Bromley London at Barratt Homes. Replacing of boiler flues and repairing ceilings where flues have been changed also correction of boilers that had been incorrectly installed. This involved travelling from Southampton and often finishing late to complete the contract on time.

Gas Engineer / Plumber / Multi Trade - Connaught - South of England

(2006-07 - 2010-12)

I worked in properties for Raglan Housing Association across the south of England. My daily jobs were sent through via PDA these often-included painting, Void work, gas safety checks, servicing maintenance, household plumbing, drainage. Whilst at Connaught I was also working on Guinness Hermitage doing gas servicing and breakdowns.

I started and finished my apprenticeship with Nationwide Maintenance this included practical work such as servicing and breakdowns alongside written work.
