I'm a data analyst with just over 8 years of experience, mostly working across public sector projects, start-ups and retail. Industries that couldn't be more different, which I think has made me a much more well-rounded analyst. My day-to-day has always centred on turning messy, complex data into something people can actually use to make decisions.

I work regularly with SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, and Azure Databricks, and I've built out ETL pipelines and data models from scratch more times than I can count. DAX and statistical analysis are areas I've got pretty comfortable in over the years, and honestly, some of my favourite moments on the job have been sitting with a non-technical team and watching something click for them — when the data suddenly makes sense and they know what to do with it.
