I am an experienced manager with an extensive knowledge of the aggregates and asphalt industry. With strong communication skills and proven ability to lead and motivate teams, a problem solver with a commonsense approach and ability to make decisions in difficult circumstances. Knowledge with Health and Safety policies etc. With an ability to prioritise and plan effectively in order that goals are met.
On a personal level, I am a family orientated person, I love spending time with my family. I enjoy music, have a lifelng love of motorcycles.
I also have a love of animals inherited from my father and grandfather who were both farmers and have owned a varied amount of animals in my life!
I have thirty six years in the aggregates and asphalt industry, starting out as a labourer and progressing to site management - quarries, asphalt plants and rail head depots.
I attended Wombwell High School, leaving in 1983 with 9 qualifications ( please refer to my CV) I also have a comprehensive CPD file with information also on my CV
