John Duthie

I am an arborist with 7 years experience, including extensive experience on high profile sites such as the Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace. I have just got my Level 4 diploma in arboriculture, and am looking to put it to use either as a surveyor or within an arborist team.

I am hard working and good at liaising with clients, and believe that useful knowledge is best shared within and outside of a team.

I have worked as an arborist for 7 years, in both the commercial and domestic sectors, as well as working for government institutions as a contractor and working high profile sites. I am particularly good at reductions, and have developed a good working knowledge of arboricultural practice.

I qualified with a Level 3 extended diploma in arboriculture from Merrist Wood College in 2014, coming top of my class academically, and have just got my Level 4 advanced diploma from the Training Tree, giving me a base of knowledge to carry out tree surveys, assess subsidence and heave, and manage woodlands, as well as increasing my knowledge of BS3998 and BS5837.
