18 years of technology experience, spanning Telecommunication, Financial Services and Energy Sector sectors, centered around Client Data and Business Process (re)Engineering. Jonathan has repeatedly sought to apply his Startup and Enterprise experiences giving him commercial awareness at scale unique in the corporate world. Jonathan understands how to structure Cloud and Transformation programmes to scale with their core People, Process and Change components taking advantage of proven CI/CD structures, Scalable Development resourcing, near shore models and effective, plain speaking senior stakeholder engagements.
Jonathan has Co-Founded Advanced Infrastructure at COO level over the summer 2020 focusing on Team structuring and successfully raising funds via Innovate UK and Horizon 2020 via European Data Institute (EDI) and investment from Netherlands based accelerator RockStart. Jonathan has been central to the creation of a Big Data digital twin to the UK energy grid facilitating localised carbon generation figures for electricity consumption where previously only national average numbers have existed.
Technologies in play: (Kepler GIS, AWS - Snowflake, Bracket, Dynamo DB, S3). Jonathan retains an equity stake in AI and now enjoys an advisory role.
In the 6 years to Jan 2020 Jonathan has worked with the globally recognised Asset Manager, Fidelity International across a range of Sales / Service Cloud projects focusing on Lead to Opportunity and Opportunity to Client Service (Order) covering Marketing (Marketo / Adobe) and CRM (Salesforce – Sales, Service and Community), AWS (Snowflake, Bracket, Elastic compute, Dynamo DB, S3) cloud tech verticals, covering Retail / Real Estate Channels across the D2C space and Wholesale, Institutional and Workplace Investing (formerly Defined Contribution) across B2B. Over this time, Jonathan has worked very closely with the Sales Leadership team and Heads of Marketing and General Operating Committee to facilitate a Marketing and CRM Client Technology stack process change providing value to Fidelity and its Clients including reduced cost, increased development velocity and simplified process
Jonathan strongly championed programmes that have progressively rationalised data sources and tackled the Perceptions of People and Process in light of active technology shifts over his time with Fidelity and radically rationalized the Client Technology stack as well as numerous syndicated sources of data and redundant processes. Over this time, Jonathan has contributed heavily to the introduction of Marketo into the Client and Employee space and the removal of regional but disparate Marketing / Automation solutions. Jonathan has further championed the use of authoritative Client data in connected systems.
In so doing he has further championed data completeness / accuracy to Sales Leaders, Users and via championing practical changes to data input screens (Marketo, Medallia, Salesforce, Custom App’s, Portals)
Jonathan’s portfolio extends to efforts to further link data sources and other Cloud / On-prem tools (Marketo to Salesforce, Salesforce to AWS Snowflake, Lambda etc.) via Mulesoft, construct API’s, build Chatbots use NLP tools – Amazon Comprehend etc., to mine existing Meeting Data for marketing interests and, sentiment, product interest and lead generation.
Throughout his engagement with Arbuthnot Latham Jonathan has championed the use of internal subject matter experts and a desired Target Operating Model for both BAU and future project engagement of Third Parties. Jonathan used his Process and Change background to drive value and velocity into his 3rd party engagements. Jonathan’s process engagement successfully dropped $2m from the run rate of AL’s Salesforce programme this year.
