Day to day maintenance of Embassy and approximately 300 properties owned by US government. Tasks can vary on daily basis according to work sheets. Maintenance and installation of kitchens, wardrobes and internal fixtures and cabinets, shelving, flooring skirtings, architraves, doors, locks, timber and metal partitioning, picture hanging.
Maintenance and fixing sash windows and recording with strings, rope or sash cord and various other carpentry according to work sheet requirements. Other duties could consist of making shipping crates, staging, stud work, door frames and linings, mirror fitting, all types of ironmongery. Also made the shelving and cupboards in internal workshop within the Embassy and is a qualified joiner and wood machinist.
