Sole responsibility for procurement and bidding process in inaugural role at water hygiene business.

• Improved end-to-end bid maturity using British Standards for Bid and Proposal Management (PAS 360:2023).
• Described ProEconomy's innovative Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) software through tender submissions, integrating novel software solutions as a win theme throughout tender submissions on facilities management.
• Data and technological solutions to the bidding process using Excel VBA (e.g. automated emails), Salesforce and PandaDoc (e.g. stakeholder engagement), and Tableau (e.g. data visualisation of client sites).
• Implemented bid qualification based on business objectives, workshopping sectors of interest with c-suite executives, to improve the quality of the pipeline targeting key sectors of interest for the business. Aligned microbiologists and SMEs drafts to the requirements of tenders.
• Quality responses averaged 70-80% through iterative adaptation using client feedback. Responses now scoring responses on procedures and health and safety now regularly receive 100% scoring.
• Written responses to complex tenders foregrounded contract negotiations with sophisticated responses that managed client expectations while responding well to tender submissions.
• Liaised with busy stakeholders through efficient stakeholder communication through regular meetings on live tenders. Created handover documents to technical leads to upskill on complex bids for contract negotiations.
• Led entrance into central government procurement markets (e.g. MoD) through desk research and proactive attendance at conferences to upskill and network with potential clients. Worked with the Sales Team to strategise engagement at events such as IHEEM and Crown Commercial Service events.

Consultant, Global Fiscal Policy - PwC

• Worked with SMEs and LSEs to apply for public sector government opportunities. Focused on presenting innovative technological solutions and sustainable manufacturing processes to procurement teams in the UK, EU and Middle East.
• Leveraged platforms such as GrantFinder and Innovate UK to identify high-impact funding opportunities for clients. Created and distributed a targeted grants bulletin to key stakeholders.
• Drafted and project managed a successful multi-million grant application for a major UK-based manufacturer through the Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (IETF). Developed in-depth technical understanding of the manufacturing process and built strategic relationships with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Co-authored an EU-impacting policy report on the effects of e-commerce on taxation revenue, recommending an innovative overhaul of customs legislation for third-country e-commerce imports. This report directly informed the EU Customs Reform announced on 17 May 2023. Recommendations focused on futureproof, data-driven approaches to electronic markets.
