I come from South Africa where I started working in a PropFin Software house pre Y2K.

I was heavily involved in growing the company from a small family type enterprise to a SME through footprint growth - I managed the sales handover process, and lead a team in rolling out implementations, training, and then support of new clients.

The company then acquired one of its main competitors becoming the industry leader in Southern Africa. I was involved in developing the new product combining the software offering from the two companies as a Business Analysis.

Finally the company was acquired by MRI Software in their quest to drive its growth through international acquisitions - I filled a Product Owner role maintaining client development requests and the QA of product releases as well demo of product features
