Jonny Clark

I am a 24-year-old amateur boxer looking to begin a career in psychology.

Over the course of my working life, I have attained relevant psychological experience in paid and volunteer fields. I have worked as a support worker at a forensic registered care facility, dealing with variably diagnosed mentally ill individuals, many of whom have histories in the criminal justice system. I have also worked as a helpline volunteer for a charity, talking callers through breathing exercises and mindfulness techniques to relieve them of their immediate anxiety.

I have just graduated from a BSc (Hons) Psychology with Clinical Psychology from Goldsmiths University. Over my time at University I have cultivated a deep understanding of the clinical field, from the diagnostic literature to treatment methods and outcomes. I have also practised and refined a number of skills, including statistical analysis, literature review, report writing and science communication.
