I joined in August just before peak which is the busiest time of year before the Christmas period, this gave me a chance to learn the skills I needed ready for peak.
- Packing customer orders ensuring every product meets quality requirements.
- Grading customer returns to see if they are re-sellable or if they are damaged and defected.
- Loading boxes into the delivery trucks for shipment.
- Hitting targets expected by the company of packing 250 items an hour, or loading 50 JP carts into the trucks an hour.
- Receiving, checking and sorting the full range of Amazon products that enter the warehouse.
- Ensuring that stocks and inventory are well organised and maintained.
Retail Assistant - Iceland

This was my first retail job I enjoyed it very much and learned loads of new skills.
- Serving customers on the tills dealing with card and cash transactions and booking slots for customers shopping to be delivered to their houses.
- Being aware of look 25 policy asking for the appropriate id of a customer looked under 25 years of age.
- Following health and safety making sure the shop floor and till area were clean with nothing on the floor.
- Re-stocking the shelves being sure to date rotate.
- Stocking freezers in the warehouse making sure to wear the correct PPE.
Landscaper/Apprentice - JK landscaping

I started as an apprenticeship from college and they took me on to work with them full time in 2018.
- Maintaining grounds being trained on weeding, general clear up and hedge and shrub trimming.
- Laid bricks, blocks and stones ensuring to follow blueprints carefully and to calculate how much material I need and would prepare them for the day.
- Operated equipment such as brick saws, mortar mixer and spirit level.
- Cutting material to size e.g patio slabs, bricks, fence post ensuring to get the correct measurements.
- When mixing ensuring to add the correct amount of sand and cement to get the correct ratio.
