Over the academic summer break, I am looking for a part-time job to keep me busy.
I am very passionate about - and have a great amount of experience in - horses. I have been in love with equestrianism since the age of 11, and have been studying equine full-time at Hartpury College in Gloucester since September 2021.
My experience also extends to previous work as a barbers' assistant, where tasks usually included:
As favours for family and friends, I have also previously dedicated a lot of time to painting and decorating (bedrooms, garden sheds, kitchens, etc.) - which is something I would be interested in pursuing due to a passion for interior design.
Additionally, like any other teenager, my favourite pastimes include:
Spending a lot of time on the computer for most of my life means I have several years of experience with Microsoft, creating documents using applications such as Word, Powerpoint, and so on. Furthermore, during the Covid-19 pandemic, this also meant plenty of communication using Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
During my time at college, I have been elected as their LGBTQ+ Student Liberation Officer, to start in September 2022, which I am very proud to have achieved. This role would include providing a safe space for LGBTQ+ students, as well as collecting and sharing ideas - with the rest of our Student Union representatives - on how to make the campus a safer and more inclusive place overall.
