• Documentation Development: Developed System Knowledge Articles (KAs), Maintenance Task Instructions (MTIs), and User Guides for the T26 Frigate.

Section Manager of Diesel Generators HMS Queen Elizabeth at Royal Navy (2018-01 – 2020-03)

Responsible for man management and leading a team of 15 engineers, maintenance and maintaining reliability of section diesel generators and auxiliary systems on the Royal Navy's largest ever Aircraft Carrier. This included working with the build contractor to commission and set to work all the systems. I managed all maintenance carried out by my own team and specialist contractors to deliver high levels of system availability.

I conducted person development reviews for junior engineers, along with progression, training and objective reviews, helping them develop from junior engineers into more senior roles. As this was a unique first-of-class ship, I had a secondary role as a Marine Engineering Watchkeeper responsible on a shift basis for all the auxiliary systems including reverse osmosis plants, sewage treatment plants and hotel services whilst at sea. I reported directly to the Engineering Officer of the Watch who was in overall control of all Engineering Services to the Captain.

Engineering Section Head of Chilled Water/HVAC and HP Air Systems at Royal Navy (2010-01 – 2018-12)

Serving on four different classes of warship gave me the opportunity to experience multiple disciplines within the engineering field. Leading a team of 6 engineers and directing focus towards planned preventative and corrective maintenance, to guarantee that equipment needs and outputs adhered to the highest of standards at all times. This ensured that operational capabilities and needs were met on time and to a schedule.

I Attended management meetings to discuss and ensure the successful delivery of Fleet Time Support packages and Ships Maintenance Periods.

• Liaising with OEMs regarding design and support equipment needs for operational outputs.
• Testing and commissioning of whole ships systems for maximum efficiency.
