I have worked in this setting since 2004 apart from 9 months (see below) when I went to another provider due to changes and uncertainty in this setting
- To support people with LD in a 24 hour supported shared house
- To provide support with personal care, budgeting, shopping all daily living skills and encouraging local community involvement.
- To support individuals to attend appointments as needed and to support and administer medications as required.
- Responsible for monitoring individuals for any changes and both documenting and reporting this as required.
- Lone working on a night shift and sometimes mentoring new staff from other areas in this role.
