As an incoming Software Developer with a robust background in Process Engineering, I bring a unique blend of analytical skills and problem-solving prowess to the world of Software. With over two years of work experience as a Process Engineer at Diodes Incorporated, I honed my abilities in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance a wide variety of semiconductor production processes.
My academic journey, culminating in a 2:1 MEng in Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester, provided me with a solid foundation in engineering principles. Building upon this foundation, I also undertook rigorous training at Northcoders, a leading software development bootcamp, to transition into a full-stack software developer role.
At Northcoders, I mastered a comprehensive set of programming languages, tools, and methodologies essential for modern software development. From test-driven development and version control with Git to building servers with Express and crafting responsive user interfaces with React, I am now ready and determined to thrive in Software Development.
With a passion for learning and a proven track record of adapting to new challenges, I am eager to leverage my diverse background to contribute meaningfully to innovative projects and collaborate with like-minded professionals in the Tech industry.

Worked as a Process Engineer at Diodes Incorporated for more than two years, which involved day-to-day troubleshooting of manufacturing issues at Diodes' semiconductor factory in Oldham, and implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives that improved processes across the entire manufacturing line. Spearheading the Epitaxy Process, my activities assisted in Diodes achieving record sales and production levels in my time at the Company.
Graduated with a 2:1 in MEng Chemical Engineering from The University of Manchester, one of the finest institutions to study Chemical Engineering in the world. Alongside gaining a solid foundation in understanding Engineering principles, I also worked on multiple extensive, complex projects, in both autonomous and collaborative assignments, which allowed me to apply the Engineering principles learned in my studies. Examples of projects undertaken include collaborating with five fellow Chemical Engineering students to fully design a lactic acid biorefinery, which constituted the entirety of the second semester of my third academic year, which I attained a 2:1 grade in.
I also undertook research on optimising distillation systems in my fourth (and final) year at University as part of my Dissertation project, to which I achieved a First Class grade.
