An analytical, strategic, and commercially astute candidate that has undertaken an RICS accredited Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Quantity Surveying, inclusive of a 2 year industrial placement with a main contractor in the UK. Pivotal participant in a collaborative project team that has contributed towards the successful delivery of a 619-unit mixed tenure residential scheme with a project value of £209 million, inclusive of an educational facility and community centre. Accomplished all commercial procedures of individual phases and progressed into the role to provide the adequate supervision of a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, while reporting directly to the Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Enrolled on the APC 24-month structured training programme to achieve MRICS status, seeking an entry level position or graduate programme for the first step to a lifelong career within an innovative and ambitious company in the UAE and GCC region.
The industrial placement began operating on a rotational basis with a bespoke structure to offer insight into correlated departments, developing an appreciation of the key responsibilities of the integrated project team, including the Commercial, Technical and Construction department. My performance, aspiration, and diligence were acknowledged by senior management, initiating their proposition to extend my employment by working remotely and independently with minimal supervision throughout my final year at university.
I have undertaken an RICS accredited Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Quantity Surveying at Liverpool John Moores University, inclusive of a 2-year industrial placement with a main contractor upon graduation. The accreditation by the RICS enables me to undertake the APC 24-month structured training programme to achieve MRICS chartership.
