During my time at Nottingham Trent University, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Criminology, I had the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of crime and criminal behavior. This was enhanced by my experience in applying both qualitative and quantitative data analysis, as well as developing strong critical thinking skills.
These experiences have sharpened my attention to detail, honed my critical thinking abilities, and instilled a deep commitment to ethical reporting—qualities that are highly applicable to a career in sports media. I am passionate about uncovering compelling stories, whether it’s analyzing the latest game tactics, profiling athletes, or examining the broader social impact of sports.
Outside of academics, I’ve been a dedicated sports fan, closely following Sunderland AFC, Durham County Cricket Club, and Newcastle Falcons. I’ve also actively engaged with sports communities through social media. My goal is to bring my unique perspective to sports journalism, combining my analytical skills with a true passion for the game.
