Hard-working, reliable and dependent, I constantly meet deadlines and complete tasks on time without any fuss. Working in group environments at a restaurant and a garage while also as captain of my rugby team, I regularly demonstrate characteristics of leadership and never back away from a challenge. Also, i'm a people's person who easily settles into different environments and makes healthy relationships with others.
I love teaching and take pride in seeing their development as my own. I have previous experience working with kids as a karate instructor. Currently, i'm 17 and in year 13 in Sixth Form studying Sport & exercise, Biology and Maths after successful GCSE results.
Im looking for a job I can fit around my studies and sporting endeavours. I'm an aspiring rugby player currently playing ACE rugby, the highest level for state schools, as a county athlete looking to build there sporting portfolio and study sport and exercise science at university.
Customer Assistant - Moto Hospitality - Richmond
(2025-01)
I started working at Burger King, Scotch Corner at the beginning of the year as a part time job to go alongside my studies. This was my first job in a professional environment and taught me the importance of time management, efficiency and team work. Working on the front serving food and drinks while cleaning to maintain a pristine dining area, it's my role as the face of the restaurant to provide a pleasant, hospitable experience to the customers.
I believe this has set me up perfectly to take on this role.
Karate Instructor - Karate Club - Middlesbrough
(2023-06)
At a karate club, I take the beginners group, teaching them the basics of karate to get them graded up the belts and to the next group. This challenges me by developing my social and soft skills when teaching different students. This has helped me grow my teaching abilities massively as I have to adapt my training style regularly to fit the ability of individuals in the group, creating a great learning environment, attaining great results whilst incorporating lots of fun games!
I currently do this every Thursday night.
Customer Assistant - Mowden Park Rugby Club - Darlington, Durham
(2024-09 - 2024-12)
This was my first experience in hospitality for my local rugby club, Darlington Mowden Park RFC. Here, I worked in hospitality, serving customers foods in private boxes and the dining area, clearing tables and washing up. This showed me the planning and organisation required before and after to put together a successful hospitality experience.
Meeting new people, we gelled quickly and worked systems to minimise our workload. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience working in this sector and believe it has set me up perfectly for this role.
Garage Assistant Mechanic - Autotune - Stockton-on-Tees
(2022-07 - 2024-09)
I worked as an assistant providing services such as cleaning, aiding in basic mechanical services, answering calls and making an amazing cup of tea! This experience helped me understand what a work environment was like and how a company works. This taught me lots about mechanics, how cars work and built up my experience working with tools, regularly being tasked with completing services and break discs and pads.
This, alongside my rugby and gym, has helped massively build up my strength and resilience.
