Scaffolder - Apex scaffolding - Leicester

Within this role I started as a labourer, so my responsibilities was to make sure my partner had all the components he needed to erect or dismantle the scaffold. I learnt very quickly and eventually become more hands on with the erecting and dismantling of the scaffold. Within this role I gained some qualifications.

I was trained and rewarded with a COTS labourer card, and a few months later was trained and rewarded with a Part One scaffolder card. Which meant I was trained as a scaffolder and got to be more hands on within the job. Within the role I gained a lot of confidence & respect.

I learnt a lot of new skills within this role and I still really enjoy the job. I just feel like I'm ready for a new challenge and a fresh start

Warehouse Manager - T-Shirt Guy Ltd - Leicester

Within this role I managed a warehouse within the clothing industry. My role was to succusfully book goods in and book goods out. Within this role I managed to gain myself a forklift licence which benefited my job as a lot of the time I unloaded lorries and loaded them. The reason I left this position was because I had a family member that had a position going for a scaffold labourer.

Base maker/Export Packer - Neal Brothers LTD Leicester - Leicester, UK

During my time at Neal Brothers I enjoyed training new colleagues to a high standard and maintaining great professionalism. I also used previously learned skills to produce basses and pack large engineering machines to be sent safely around the world. Whilst working with Neal Brothers I gained training to use large power tools such as the following:

• shrink wrap gun
• Band saw
• Rip saw

Employment - Pally International Ltd

On return to Leicester I was able to continue my role at Pally International Ltd. I was offered my previous role back and I took great pleasure in returning to this work. I gained lots of respect whilst I was at Pally international and continued to increase my knowledge. I ended my employment here in December 2018 due to no further progression possible.

Warehouse Operative - Tesco - Peterborough, UK

Whilst my role with Tesco was short, I aimed to learn new things and adapt to the new environment. Within this role I worked within a team assembling products to Tesco stores around the United Kingdom. I was trained on an MHE truck which I used consistently to move pallets to their designated areas.

This job was active and manual which required me to be accurate and follow the health & safety guidelines to the standards required. As life situations changed, I was unable to continue my employment and had to relocate back to Leicester.

I worked at Pally international for over 5 years. Whilst working here I gained strong ability to lead a team well. I worked within the warehouse as a screen printer, and warehouse operative. I was able to find myself and learned to aim higher and take on hard challenges with the capability of meeting tight deadlines.

I always used my initiative to ensure my work was complete to a high standard. As well as working on my own doing stock checks and deliveries, With support from my managers and superiors I was able to manage and run the warehouse with some direction and guidance.
