In my previous position as Operations Manager at Gateway Automaton, I successfully oversaw daily operations, optimized workflows, and led cross-functional teams to achieve key performance targets. I was responsible for managing budgets, improving supply chain efficiency, and implementing process improvements including reduction in operational costs. My ability to drive operational excellence while maintaining high levels of employee engagement and customer satisfaction has been key to my success.
As the Operations Manager, I report directly to the owner and oversee the day-to-day operations of the business. I ensure our projects meet client requirements by assisting the Projects team, managing overall business costs, and investigating the delivery of outputs that do not meet expectations. I have completed an SSTS course, Lean Management Level 2, and have enrolled in IOSH Managing Safely to further develop my leadership and safety skills.
Before transitioning to Operations Management, I worked as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, specializing in the airworthiness of multimillion-pound aircraft. I have extensive experience in servicing, repairing, and modifying complex mechanical systems, including both pre-planned and reactive maintenance.
I am an enthusiastic, proactive, and self-motivated individual, accustomed to working in various shift patterns and environmental conditions while consistently maintaining high standards. A confident supervisor and communicator, I excel in both team settings and independent work. I am well-versed in adhering to strict procedures to ensure efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
