About
High-agency national security generalist with experience spanning information operations, cognitive effects and AI-enabled defence technology. At ORB, I have increasingly moved beyond research into helping build and run wAIve as its own business unit, taking ownership across product, commercial direction and operations. I am most motivated by ambiguous problems, and roles where I can move between strategy and execution to build something from the ground up.
Experience
Senior Analyst, wAIve Delivery & Business Development at ORB International (2026-01 – Present)
- Co-developed and scaled wAIve, an AI-enabled local FM monitoring capability, from a U.S. defence-funded pilot into a c.US$1.3m annual programme across 15 countries; now lead its three-person team.
- Set product direction around government mission requirements, working directly with developers to prioritise development and improve AI-enabled transcription, translation, classification and analysis through user feedback and quality assurance.
- Developed wAIve as an information-environment capability, using local broadcast data to surface state-sponsored narratives, extremist messaging and misinformation that can sit outside conventional digital monitoring.
- Own much of the commercial strategy, including pricing, scoping and proposals; have won new work and expanded the capability beyond defence into humanitarian and public-health applications.
- Oversee the business unit's P&L and internal operations, building scalable processes across deployment, suppliers, client onboarding and commercial tracking as the programme has grown.
- Manage senior government users from demonstrations and onboarding through live delivery, translating operational requirements into product priorities and identifying opportunities for further work.
Research Executive, Africa & wAIve at ORB International (2024-03 – 2025-12)
- Led primary and secondary research feeding directly into information operations and target-audience analysis for a major defence customer, applying the Hierarchy of Psychological Effects Model (HPEM) to assess how narratives could influence attitudes, intent and behaviour.
- Combined quantitative and qualitative research, media monitoring and OSINT to understand complex information environments, including state-sponsored narratives, misinformation and influence activity.
- Analysed extremist communications in the Sahel, including how groups used religious narratives to build legitimacy and influence local audiences.
Client Management Associate at Coleman Research/VisasQ (2023-03 – 2024-03)
- Managed time-sensitive research requests from institutional investors, strategy consultants and corporate clients, helping them access expert insight across emerging markets, infrastructure, technology and industrial sectors.
- Coordinated multiple live client projects simultaneously, balancing speed, relevance, compliance and quality in a high-pressure commercial environment.
Executive Search Consultant at Harper Harrison (2022-09 – 2022-03)
- Delivered market intelligence and business development across infrastructure and technology markets, generating approximately US$150k in new business within six months.
Co-founder at Freedom 35 & The Hip Hop Society & Into the Wild (2019-01 – Present)
- Founded and scaled three events companies, organising 20+ events across four cities with up to 500 attendees per event. Total Revenue across two years ~£50k, with £7k raised for YoungMindsUK.
