Joshua Hodges

I am a motivated and dependable school leaver who has recently completed GCSEs and is looking for a first opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience. I completed a one week placement at a company called Swisslog, where I experienced a professional working environment and developed my teamwork, communication and organisational skills. During april 2024, I went to The Gambia with a charity called Project Gambia for a week to do charity work for the locals such as painting schools, cooking and dishing food for school children with additionally providing fun art and crafty activities that they find entertaining as well as giving them basic supplies like mosquito nets and clothes.

Through completing the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award, participating in athletics and maintaining a regular gym routine, I have built resilience, self discipline and a strong work ethic. I am eager to learn, take on responsibility and make a positive contribution to any team.
