A confident and experienced Assistant Site manager / Supervisor with experience in both domestic and commercial construction projects. Working within the construction and maintenance industry from a young age I have always been very keen to learn from others and develop new skills along my career. Wallpaper Hanger at Self Employed (2020-04 – 2023-01)

During this time I worked as a self employed wallpaper hanger working for multiple different decorating contractors. I completed some small projects and some large. Including the complete fit out of 2 large central London hotels.

One being the Hilton on horseferry road. This was a 15 floor hotel refurbishment where I was myself hanging wide vinyl wall coverings to guest rooms and all communal areas, whilst also supervising 5 other paper hangers. Another was a very challenging hotel refurbishment in Tower Hill.

Assistant Site Manager / Quality Control Manager at CJ Decorators (2019-08 – 2020-03)

I Started at CJ Decorators as a decorating supervisor placed on a 125 room hotel project in central London and was to run this project from start till finish. After not too long with CJ decs, I was asked if I could take on the role of Quality Control Manager, visiting other CJ decs projects every Friday and snagging completed works, giving advice where possible. This was all carried out whilst running my own project Monday to Thursday.

I was in charge of every aspect of the job, planning the schedule of works, supervising the team carrying out the works, quality control and head of the snagging team. Completing large projects in the UK and Holland.

Reactive Maintenance Engineer at Carillion PLC (2014-03 – 2015-07)

I was part of a team who responded to KPI's as part of the London Overground Maintenance contract. This was a multi trader position. I was painting, doing minor carpentry, brickwork and plumbing.

I had left school after achieving 6 GCSE's at grades C and above and wanted to get straight into work in construction. I worked for this period for different companies mainly doing domestic improvements. Mainly labouring for senior staff of multiple trades.
