I have previously worked in a call centre for Answer 4U. Within this role I developed my IT skills daily, by reviewing customer accounts and updating information about their billing and shipping address. I dealt with complex customers complaints professionally and politely, making sure to resolve issues with favourable solutions.
This allowed me to showcase my customer service skills and problem-solving skills. I confirmed customer details, ensuring that I had the correct spelling and noted the details of the nature of the call correctly. This developed my reporting skills whilst sharpening my Attention to detail.
I applied the correct hold and transfer procedures, whilst also consistently keeping call times within timeframe target. This helped me to build my time management skills, allowing me to meet the call deadline. I also have experience in sales working for Flint promotions.
I enthusiastically approached customers, which helped to build brand loyalty. This helped to maximised sales conversion. Through my communication skills that I had previously acquired in past roles, I was able to make the customer feel relaxed and comfortable talking to me.
I was appointed as a manager and helped organise an event for BBC children in need. I was put in charge to control and manage the technical equipment team. This role helped me to develop my leadership skills and take accountability, due to the nature of this role I had to take full responsibility for my actions and its outcomes.
I supervised and delegated tasks to employees to meet key productivity targets thus improving my organisational, problem-solving and leadership skills. I had to communicate efficiently with parents giving them a debrief about what events took place during the day, I had to raise any concerns I had about a child to their parent. I listened to team members' feedback on how I could improve as a manager and proactively addressed concerns raised both with the work of my team members and of myself.
I am currently at Nottingham Trent University, studying my chosen undergraduate course in cybersecurity. I previously attended Walsall Academy where I studied my A-Level courses in Psychology, Art & Design and Health & social care. At the end I acquired two A's and a C.
