My responsibilities as a housekeeper differ from those of a conventional housekeeper because I do not focus on cleaning the ward. My main goal is to help the management administer the ward. My position also demands computer literacy because using Microsoft applications, office equipment, and liaising with different departments for a particular issue on the ward is required.
One of my primary focuses is the level of medical stocks. I also help the patients with their mobility. One of my top priority tasks is to ensure that their dietary needs are met, from liaising with the kitchen when they require a special diet to ensuring that the necessary food and drinks are provided.
Taking blood is also one of my responsibilities. In short, I work in both non-clinical and clinical roles. In addition, Immediate Life Support, Phlebotomy, and Food Handling Level 2 are part of my training.

My typical day as a rehabilitation support worker includes the following tasks: Conducting assessments within the ward to determine what care and support are required. Working with other professionals, such as doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, physiotherapists, and social workers, is essential to ensuring that clients receive the appropriate care. My responsibilities included performing health checks, taking blood samples, participating in health promotion and education activities, and offering advice on utilising specialised equipment.
It is the same roles where I was working in Woodcot Lodge just in different location and management.

I do almost everything for the patients' since it is residential and nursing care. My main responsibilities were assisting patients with washing and dressing, moving around, monitoring patients, and performing basic health checks, assisting with meals, and making patients feel at ease. Giving updates to the family is also part of the job.
