Julia Dalrymple

Originally from New York I decided to give London its well deserved chance. My favorite thing about marketing is how many opportunities there are within the industry to which I can use all my skill sets and learn new ones along the way. I am looking for positions in brand marketing, PR, and consumer relations.

I am willing to work hard in any capacity for a chance to contribute while also having an opportunity to learn about this line of work. My interest in consumers and influencers sparked from many of my internships where I was part of a team and could experience, learn and contribute to all the channels used to promote brands. Being a small part of fast-paced and creative companies has generated my continuing interest in consumer behavior.

I would bring my work ethic, humility, grit, and friendliness to the office and assignments in whatever capacity is needed. The skills I learned in my internships and jobs, my interest in marketing and PR, my willingness to work hard, and my ability to learn quickly would be an asset to any possible position.

I just recently completed my masters in Marketing at the University of St Andrews. During term time I was taking courses that included Consumer Behavior, Marketing Research, Dialogue and Debate, and Financial Behavior. I was also given the opportunity to intern with the Admissions Marketing team where I did competitive analysis projects and consumer research. Finally, my dissertation focused on the concept of the formation of parasocial relationships and teleshopping networks.
