Retail Assistant - The Range

Working as a Retail Assistant helped me develop strong customer service, organisation, and teamwork skills within a busy retail environment. I gained experience operating tills, handling customer transactions, assisting customers with questions and ensuring a friendly and helpful service. Also having the responsibility for restocking shelves, maintaining store presentation, organising stock, and helping to keep the shop floor safe and tidy.

This role grew my confidence and improved my ability to communicate with not only customers but also team members effectively while keeping a high standard of work.

Bar Staff - Cascade Lounge

Working as a Bar Staff member at Cascade Lounge allowed me to take my first steps in the working environment. Developing communication, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment. I gained experience serving customers handling busy periods efficiently, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The role helped me improve my ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks at once, and stay organised.

Primary School Assistant - Knighton Mead Primary Academy

Working as a Primary school assistant allowed me to gain experience supporting children with their learning, encouraging their confidence, and creating a welcoming environment. Ensuring they feel comfortable to speak to me if any issues occur. The role taught me the importance of being understanding, adaptable, and dependable while working with different personalities and needs.
