My main duties of this role was to interact with the different varieties of patients and provide for their basic needs such as hot drinks and lunches. During the job I had small cleaning duties and I learnt the importance of bedside manners. I made hot drinks and patient breakfast as well as helped patients fill out menus for the next day. This job taught me to work well in busy environments and under pressure. Time management and organization was key during this role.

Volunteer - Parklands Pharmacy - 1A Coppice Dr, NN36ND

As a volunteer for work experience I worked alongside both the pharmacist and the pharmacy dispenser. I worked with many different medications and accurately labeled and dispensed them showing the importance of attention to detail and accuracy. I got a chance to improve my customer service skills whilst working during the busiest hours of the shift. I gained organization skills and I am now confident speaking to customers/patients.
