Run my own small food production business, APPLE NATURAL. I make a range of handmade apple fruit leathers using apples from our own heritage orchard. We sell direct to customer, through our main national online stockist, Hodmedod’s and locally with Tamar Grow Local. I am responsible for all aspects of the business and production is based from my own commercial kitchen on site. I have an extensive knowledge of making ‘All things Apple’ and our heritage apple varieties.
Manage an extensive heritage orchard of over 300 fruit trees maintaining the land sympathetic to nature and encouraging bio-diversity.
To date I have won four GOLD and one SILVER in the Taste of The West product awards.
2022 Took part in workshops and seminars with the Food and Drink Cornwall Project and worked with business mentors such as chef and food campaigner Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall
