I have experience at management level in various fields. I worked in a Bridal shop as manager for over 15 years, eventually leaving to concentrate on my own alterations and design business which grew to become very successful. I still maintain strong links and business connections with said Bridal shop having developed a reliable reputation as a Dressmaker specialising in Bridal and Evening Wear.
However, I have always enjoyed being part of a team and so I began working as an Assistant Manager in Martlets Vintage Charity shop in Brighton. This role satisfied my enjoyment of delivering great customer service with an emphasis on maintaining team spirit with communication being the key to a successful workforce. I enjoy the customer service role and going the extra mile to exceed the clients expectations.
Customer service is the key to a successful business as I have discovered in my own self-employed role. I worked for 5 years as a receptionist at Esporta, a Health Club in Falmer near Brighton. In May of this year I was contacted by the owners of Random Hall Hotel in Slinfold and offered the role of Events and Wedding Manager, which I felt was a good fit for my experience and also an exciting new opportunity to begin a different career.
Hall has delivered me the opportunity to now begin the search for the perfect role. I am enjoying the team work and customer relations aspect of the job but feel that perhaps there is a role more suited to my experiences.
