I use to work in a Bank but after a career break I got involved with the performing arts when my daughter joined one of the performing arts schools. I became a licensed chaperone after I was approached by the Director who was keen for me to apply for my license. Aswell as Chaperoning children in performing arts I was highly recommended to NI Chaperones & BBC where I chaperone children who work in TV (film, C beebies, Bitesize Science etc).
I also use to help run a primary school youth club once a wk. Occasionally on Saturdays in performing arts schools I would be asked to assist when an assistant teacher is absent who takes the 3 to 5 year olds. I would also be an occ helper with the older ones 5 to 18.
I Chaperone alot of shows for various performing arts schools. I love working with children. I love to see them thrive & do well. It's very rewarding. I was also a Girl guide leader for 5 years. I get on very well with people of all ages.
Having my own children I do have personal experience with babies/children & young adults. I also have an allotment and love the outdoors. I help with the events at our allotment which we run throughout the year raising money for charity.
I organise the activities. I love arts & crafts. I am very creative. I also love musical theatre whether it be working backstage or watching as an audience member. I go quite often to see shows. I recently did events work which I enjoyed, assisting in collections & sales for running kits etc for a Marathon.
I enjoy working with the public. I get on well with people of all ages, I am very patient, very approachable, keen & open to trying new things.
