- Using Microsoft office on a daily basis, preparing estimates and communication with customers.
- Pay wages
- Using Quick books software package on a daily basis for,
- Prepare and submit Sales invoices
- Process Credit Notes if required
- To check all purchase invoices and process for payment where necessary.
- To raise any queries over any inaccuracy of invoices with suppliers.
- Balance monthly accounts
- Submit quarterly accounts to HMRC
- Balance and bank monies.

From 1992 – 2006 I worked for Amber Valley Borough Council / Futures Housing Group Ripley Derbyshire in the Housing Department.
- Demonstrated the ability to deal with members of the public face to face in matters relating to housing tenancies and repairs to properties. Some of which were extremely abusive and being able to dissolve the situation calmly. Being able to prioritise the priority one cases to the priority four cases (urgent to non-urgent) and organising the tradesmen to get to the priority one's as a matter of urgency.
- Costing out council house repairs and liaising with the tradesmen, bricklayers, plumbers, joiners and electricians.
- Dealing with high volumes of cheques and cash from raising invoices for the pull chord pendant alarm systems.
- Providing day to day support and assistance to a team of Area Housing Officers and Surveyors
- Supporting the team in all aspects of customer service enquiries, voids property management, safeguarding and anti-social behaviour cases, ensuring policies, procedures and legislation is adhered to
- Keeping all records, files/ notes, letters/ correspondence, statistical data and other documentation relating to cases up to date and stored correctly
- Working with colleagues to ensure effective communication
- Maintaining confidentiality of information acquired.
