As a responsible compassionate loyal graduate student from the School of Psychology at De Montfort University, I am wanting to gain invaluable interpersonal skills and eager to learn and take on new responsibilities and better and improve upon my current skill set gained through my studies at University. Volunteer - Duke of Edinburgh's scheme - Edgeware Infant and nursery school - High Street, Edgeware, London

As part of my involvement in the Duke of Edinburgh's scheme, I volunteered to work a Nursery, where I gained experience of taking responsibility in organizing children's games and their activities during their lunch hour.

• Activities including reading to a group of children and playing various fun games, listening and talking to the children and their requests.
• However, I didn't fully complete this award I still gained experience of working where responsibility is involved.

As a retail assistant my main duties were:

• to stock up shelves
• helping customer and fulfilling their needs
• learnt how to work on the till
• looked after the changing rooms
• Security tagged and priced tagged items e.g. shoes, clothes, children's books. Also kept the shop tidy and neat.
• Recommended merchandise to customers based on their needs and preferences.
• Completed all cleaning, stocking and organising tasks in assigned sales area.
• Contacted other store locations to determine merchandise availability.
