Shop Assistant at premier In the busy village shop I would work the till take in deliveries and rotate stock. I would then also sweep and mop the shop floor making sure everything is clean and tidy for the next morning. When closing the shop i would clean of the pastry tray, pack up the in sold daily news papers ready to be picked up, I'd close the fridges and lock all the doors.

Barista at Costa In the caffe we would rotate jobs with in the team. Some of the jobs would consist of taking orders, making customers drinks, heating food, washing dishes, putting dishes back, delivering food to customers, sweeping up and cleaning the dining area.

I had to be fast paced while making sure I listen to orders correctly, so I could make the correct drink and send the correct food order to the kitchen. I also helped to make sure the bar was clean and the glasses had been washed and put back in their designated places. I would also help to take out food orders from the kitchen if needed and clean off the tables at the same time, making sure to stay clean and hygienic myself.

A lot of the time I'd help close down the bar at the end of the night washing everything, taking the taps off, sweeping, mopping and returning everything back to their place.
